The New Seraph Gets New Patron, As Night of Divine Experience 2 Holds

A new Patron has been appointed for The New Seraph Movement. He is Superintendent Apostle Engineer Adeniyi Afolabi, an Engineer, an accomplished businessman and a committed Seraph. The appointment was confirmed with induction at this year’s Night of Divine Experience hosted by Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye and members of her New Seraph initiative.

At the induction ceremony held at the New Seraph City at Sapade in Ode Remo area of Ogun State, the visioner of The New Seraph, Dr. Yomi Sholoye mentioned many of the sterling qualities of Engineer Afolabi that made him very suitable for the exalted position.

According to her Engineer Afolabi, a born, bred and distinguished Seraph believes in the good deeds and legacies of the founding fathers of Cherubim and Seraphim Church has been added by God to lift the vision of The New Seraph. He is a member of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

She said, “We are glad to have eminent men and women in The New Seraph. Our Patron’s parents were members of the Cherubim and Seraph Church like myself. God has brought him to our midst as a New Seraph. He has been advising us and we have been benefiting from his good counsel.

Dr. Yomi-Sholoye explained that if somebody is doing something with consistency it would not be out of place to appreciate such a person. Little wonder then that the honour came the way of Engineer Afolabi as a role model to the youths.

In the same vein, the paramount ruler of Ode Remo, His Royal Majesty Oba Surveyor Dr. Adetunji Osho expressed his thanks to God that such a good news was coming to his Nazareth about this time, confirming the statement that whatever one is doing in life is being watched by God and others noting that Engineer Afolabi was the Chairman of the organising committee of his 10th coronation anniversary held in 2019, and he was very glad to be part of those who would be decorating the new patron.

In his acceptance speech, Engineer Afolabi humbly submitted that no one could do anything unless it was from God, also affirming the statement that every person is created naked, and whatever we are doing is not hidden.

“The bible in Genesis 2:25 talks about nakedness of Adam and Eve, it was not just physical nakedness but it shows people are watching us in whatever we do. Anything you are doing, anywhere you are, you are naked, people are watching you, he admonished.

Engineer Afolabi who had earlier preached the sermon for the day noted that Nigeria had existed for 60 years without direction but in 2025 when C&S would be 100 years in Nigeria, The New Seraph would deliver an economic blueprint for Nigeria.

“With the birth of The New Seraph God has given us the Spirit of excellence in Cherubim and Seraphim Church, and Nigeria will never be the same again,” he promised.

The new patron was later decorated and presented with a plague to commemorate the event. It was also said that a new seat had been dedicated to the honour of the patron meaning his seat shall always be at all New Seraph events. By this development he becomes the Life Patron of The New Seraph in Nigeria and Overseas.

Present at the Special Night of Divine Experience and induction ceremony were eminent persons, anointed men and women ministers of God, leaders within and outside the Church as well as members cutting across social groups. Among these were Oba Adetunji Osho, the Alaye Ode Remo and his Olori, Baba Aladura Luke Babasanya, Superintendent Apostle Olasunkanmi Ogabi, the Chairman of New Seraph in Lagos, Special Supt. Apostle J. O. Adebola, Remo District Chairman, Bishop Jimi Idowu Amos, Gen. Apostle Mother Toyin Okon, Special Apostolic Mother Adesanmi Mama Okiki Imole, and other leaders carefully selected to control participants at the event.

The convener, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi Sholoye had expressed her appreciation to God for making the day possible in spite of the global pandemic which had its telling effects on people, organisations and events, noting that the programme had to go virtual in the spirit and letters of the season.

As expected the programme was held within due Covid -19 safety protocols, with washing of hands at the entrance, with hand sanitizers, and different types of matching face shields and nose masks.

The programme was aired live by Bond FM, a Lagos based radio broadcasting station under the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, and other designated social media.
