Night of Divine Experience 2: Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye Calls For More Understanding of The New Seraph

Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye and the entire members of The New Seraph were once again gathered to hold another edition of their annual Night of Divine Experience. The event was held at their New Seraph City at Sapade along Lagos Ibadan Express Way in Ogun State, Nigeria. The event began in 2019.

The programme which was supposed to hold in the night took place in the afternoon because of restrictions on public activities because of the Covid-19 partial release of lockdown. The programme began at 12 noon and lasted for few hours of the day but all the salient aspects of the programme were fully observed.

The programme began with praise and worship by the choir followed by various sessions of prayers and the message for the day by the guest speaker Superintendent Apostle Engineer Adeniyi Afolabi who was later investitured as the Life Patron of the movement.

The visioner Her Grace Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye also known as the Ezra of our time in her address expressed her thanks to God for His protection in the past year noting that many things had happened but it was the grace of God that sustained His people.

She thus used the opportunity to call on the body of Christ to unite and shun politicking in the house of God warning that all would give account of all their deeds at the throne of judgement.

Speaking on the vision and mission of The New Seraph, Dr. Yomi-Sholoye explained there was no point for some people to misunderstand the mission of the New Seraph and what we are called to do.

“I am a born Seraph. My late father and my mother are born Seraphs. I am one of the 4th generation of Seraphs in my family. Our family is part of the founding members of Seraph. The C&S Church and the New Seraph will continue to move forward.

Affirming her belief in the unity of the body of Christ and most especially Cherubim and Seraphim Church, the woman of God exclaimed, “How can I pull down my heritage? As New Seraph we are abiding by the foundation of the founder of the founder of our movement, Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase. Our concern is how we can as Seraph be renewed in the way of the Lord, and how we can live a Christlike life. We want to see how we can be descent with the way we do things.”

She continued, “They alleged that we don’t follow the doctrines of the founding father, that we don’t believe in burning incense, that we don’t clap hands, all I can say is that God would forgive them. Let us check out our information before we put it on air. The New Seraph is a body of Christ divinely. We are raised to make the difference in people’s lives. We follow the tenets of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Let us check our programmes and ideologies to know that truly the New Seraph is about you and me, contact us and clarify us for any issue. We thank God we can converge again. We are one, we do not discriminate.

All we do in the New Seraph is biblical. We follow the Bible to the letter to empower Seraphs and non- Seraphs. We are one in Christ. We are not out to change the doctrine of the founding fathers. Check us out, we have our altar, we have our lampstands and we burn the incense.

Another aspect of the historic event was the inauguration and investiture of the Life patron of New Seraph in person of Supt. Apostle Adeniyi Afolabi, a petroleum engineer.

There was also the revival session led by an anointed singer in person of Ewa Jesu who led in the usual famous C&S songs. This was followed by anointing and prophetic utterance by the visioner, Dr. Yomi-Sholoye.

In her closing remark, Dr. Yomi-Sholoye urged the participants and all the viewers across the world to make the best use of the message, the prayers and the prophetic utterances saying “You cannot afford to end this programme empty handed.

The Night of Divine Experience was rounded off with a session of refreshment for the participants.

The programme was attended by eminent persons, anointed men and women ministers of God, leaders within and outside the Church while thousands of faithfuls watch it via social media across the world. It was also aired live on Bond FM, a Lagos based radio station under Federal Radio Broadcasting Corporation of Nigeria.  Among participants were Oba Adetunji Osho, the Alaye Ode Remo and his Olori, Baba Aladura Luke Babasanya, Superintendent Apostle Olasunkanmi Ogabi, the Chairman of New Seraph in Lagos, Special Supt. Apostle J. O. Adebola, Remo District Chairman, Bishop Jimi Idowu Amos, Gen. Apostle Mother Toyin Okon, Special Apostolic Mother Adesanmi Mama Okiki Imole, and other leaders carefully selected to control participants at the event.
